Love the name, love the work even more. Trotting the streets of Oslo, Copenhagen, Trondheim, Memphis(?) and, recently, Chicago, photographersAndreas Schjønhaug and Eirik Slyngstad document the sartorial splendor of notable pedestrians, publishing their findings on their Streethearts website. Great stuff, look for these looks in next year’s catalogs.

Simply Vera preview at Kohls

The MidWastland’s Recessionista has this to say about a new low-end Vera Wang line at Kohls: Once the economy rebounds - or I marry for money - I’ll wear real Vera. Until then, her Spring line for Kohls is a pretty good subsitute. If the lookbook photos are any proof, she does some great draping - which you rarely see in these lower-end lines. The line has some great slouch and a menswear-inspired aesthetic. The looks created for the web site offer up some great layering inspiration. These are definitely pieces designed to be piled one on top of the other.
